Thank you LivingSocial for appealing to my every want and "need"! How did you know on that January day I had always wanted to go seal watching? Is technology so advanced that you are able to hear my most inner thoughts? I didn't even know my desire was that strong until you brought it to my attention. Regardless of your ways, I succumbed to the temptation of having the opportunity to watch these strangely cute animals in action and purchased two vouchers. So, on Saturday, February 4th we woke up at an obscene hour for a day off and headed off to Queens to embark on our nature-filled journey on the American Princess (http://americanprincesscruises.com). Little did we know that seals, in essence, are maritime punks. Cute maritime punks, to say the least.
Mona, getting her maritime groove on.
Finally, progress was made. Let's do this!
All aboard!
And Arleen told Mona that she shouldn't go to the second deck but Mona was curious...
"Seals! Where are the seals?!"
They are underwater playing hide-n-go-seek. A bit rude these seals, no? Did they not know they were having visitors?
And the sugar-induced comatose ride home begins. Bad monkey!
